The Paris Region Climate Plan sets the ambitious goal to ban diesel vehicles in the Greater Parisian metropolitan area by 2025, and all petrol-fueled vehicles in Paris Region by 2030. What this means is that local authorities in Paris Region are engaging on a path to renew their entire mobility fleet and switch to electric buses, personal vehicles, and bikes.

Paris Region has many assets sought by players developing connected and autonomous mobility solutions: a diverse and dynamic research ecosystem, a vibrant startup scene offering technological bricks and a talented and accessible pool of engineers.
Paris Region also plans to invest €100m to adapt key road infrastructure facilitating the mass deployment of connected and autonomous vehicles.

Caocao’s Expansion to Paris Region
If the outbreak of COVID-19 put our travel plans and use of transportation to a halt, several mobility players adapted in no-time to the situation finding innovative solutions to meet new health and safety guidelines. Caocao is one of them. They expanded to Paris Region in 2019 to offer safe and eco-friendly mobility solutions.
