MIPIM 2026: Paris Region reinforces its commitment to sustainable and innovative real estate
From 9 to 13 March 2026, Paris Region will be present at MIPIM to highlight a territory undergoing profound urban transformation, structured around environmental innovation. Building on the legacy of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and on the progress of the Grand Paris Express, the region confirms its ambition to become a leading European destination for sustainable real estate and a major hub for responsible economic attractiveness.
A robust and resolutely forward-looking property market
With nearly 60 million sqm of office space, Paris Region remains one of the world’s most significant real estate markets. Its sectoral diversity makes it a highly resilient market, capable of absorbing cycles and anticipating new corporate expectations.
In 2025, the region confirmed its role as a European driver of international investment, attracting 438 international investment projects, up 18% in one year, 58% of which came from European companies. In addition, 309 new international set-ups were registered, a historic record of +46%, consolidating its leadership in Europe.
These projects generated 9,053 jobs, an increase of 11%, demonstrating their strong economic impact.
A region guided by environmental transition
The Grand Paris Express continues to accelerate Paris Region's transformation by creating new, accessible and connected urban centres designed for contemporary uses. Around the future stations, ambitious projects are emerging that combine mixed-use development, low carbon construction, and the redevelopment of brownfield sites, illustrating a more resource efficient and resilient urban vision.
Driven by the SDRIF-E, the region’s environmental master plan, and by strong decarbonization objectives, Paris Region positions itself as a true laboratory for sustainable real estate, expanding the use of bio based materials, encouraging the integration of AI in building design and operations, and promoting new approaches to territorial planning. Flagship areas such as Paris La Défense, Paris Saclay, Paris Marne-la-Vallée ou encore les communes de la Métropole du Grand Paris are experimenting with and deploying innovative solutions, demonstrating the region’s capacity to combine ecological ambition, technological innovation, and economic performance.
