Grand Paris at MIPIM 2025
Building impact!
The Paris Region won multiple gold medals last summer–not just for sports, but for delivering on ambitious goals. From new and renovated infrastructures, delivered on time, to welcoming and entertaining the world, the Paris 2024 Games set a benchmark for low-carbon impact.
The Paris 2024 Games also showcased the power of community and collaboration. Over 6.6 million visitors were welcomed, accommodated, and transported across the region’s 12,000 square kilometers. For many, the returns on investment are already visible.
As MIPIM approaches, it's essential to remember that the conclusion of the games is not the end of the journey. Instead, it marks the beginning of a lasting legacy—tangible and intangible—a work in progress with enduring impact.
The summer of 2024 spotlighted key transformations across the Paris Region. Visitors discovered Pleyel's new districts and the new metro stations on the extended Line 14. They flocked to Paris La Défense and its Arena, now an Olympic site, where they witnessed the evolution of Europe’s leading business district. Eastward, the Vaires-sur-Marne water sports center impressed, while the west showcased Versailles and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines as vibrant hubs for jumping, golfing, and riding.
Visitors didn’t just explore—they experienced a "new" Paris Region. Real estate projects driving this transformation were showcased during business meetings at MIPIM, underscoring the region's innovative spirit.
In uncertain times, resilience drives success—whether for athletes or the real estate market.
Today, industry players are asking critical questions: "Is the end of the crisis near?" and "Where should we reinvest—living spaces, workplaces, or mobility hubs?". History reminds us that crises often reveal great opportunities.
Projects like the €73 billion Grand Paris Express exemplify stability and vision. Since its launch in 2016, this transport revolution has completely transformed the Paris Region, making it more sustainable, inclusive, responsible, and attractive.
Over the next ten years, the network will include 350 kilometers of additional lines and 139 new stations, offering unprecedented mobility to its residents and visitors from around the world. If the project inspires other major cities in Europe and overseas, it’s precisely because it responds to the current uncertainty with a structured and ambitious vision for the future.
The opportunities are here— and the Paris Region has more to offer than ever before.
