Governance

Through its governance structure, Choose Paris Region brings together public and private stakeholders from the industrial, tourism and audiovisual production sectors who actively work to enhance the attractiveness of Paris Region. It includes a large number of companies - large corporations, small and medium-sized businesses - as well as local authorities, attractiveness agencies and educational establishments, which all play their part in promoting their region.

 

Its founding and ex-officio members are Paris Region, the Grand Paris Metropolitan Area, the Paris Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the French government, Bpifrance and Business France.

 

With a team of 120 employees in Europe, the United States and China, Choose Paris Region helps more than a thousand international companies every year to set up and accelerate their development in Europe's leading region.

 

Choose Paris Region is committed to gender equality in the workplace. Its index is 94 points out of 100.

The Agency's governance reflects its determination to develop partnerships, federate regional stakeholders, promote the region's attractiveness and create collective initiatives to enhance the region's international influence. Thus, the public and private stakeholders who work hard to enhance the region's attractiveness can join forces within Choose Paris Region's governing body.

Paris Region's ability to adapt on an ongoing basis allows it to remain competitive in attracting foreign capital. Today, Choose Paris Region is governed by a group of around 100 stakeholders who strongly contribute to the region's attractiveness.

They are organized into 5 colleges: "Founders and ex-officio members", "Companies", "Territories", "Stakeholders in economic development and attractiveness", and "Stakeholders in tourism and heritage promotion".
